Apply to join a pledge class of Alpha Kappa Psi! Chapter events and marketing initiatives will take place throughout the start of each semester to help you build a better relationship with our chapter. Stay tuned to our Instagram tcu_akpsi for details. We are so excited to get to know you!

Information sessions

Any potential new members interested in joining Alpha Kappa Psi must attend one of the available info sessions. The purpose of these sessions is to provide information about the fraternity, introduce PNMs to active members, and outline the rush process. Two to three info sessions will be held to accommodate as many students as possible and provide a fair chance of eligibility.

Networking events

Following the info sessions, networking events will be organized to allow PNMs to interact with active members in a relaxed social setting. PNMs can showcase their skills, experiences, and interests while mingling with fraternity members. These events aim to be low pressure, and create a positive and engaging atmosphere for PNMs to connect with our chapter.

Pledge class selection

Based on the information gathered from the info sessions, networking events, and interviews, the executive board will select the pledge class for the respective semester. PNMs who demonstrate a strong alignment with AKPsi values and show potential for contributing positively to the fraternity will be most strongly considered for membership. Selected PNMs will be notified of their acceptance into the pledge class and provided with further instructions on the pledging process.

PLedge education

Upon acceptance into the pledge class, new members will undergo a period of education and orientation to learn about AKPsi's history, values, and expectations. Pledge education activities will be designed to foster camaraderie, professional development, and leadership skills among new members. The pledge education process will culminate in a formal initiation ceremony, marking the beginning of their journey as full-fledged members of Alpha Kappa Psi.
