FAQs

  • Yes, Alpha Kappa Psi is proudly open to all majors.

Business and professionalism are relevant everywhere - from the sciences, technology, arts, and humanities. While we are a business fraternity, we believe the skills and network developed in chapter activities can benefit any student. Unique backgrounds and differing perspectives make our organization stronger.

  • No.

Alpha Kappa Psi has a strict no tolerance hazing policy. Hazing has no place in a professional fraternity, or for that matter, anywhere. As an organization that aspires to bring people together, we are deeply concerned with the health and wellbeing of our members. The purpose of Alpha Kappa Psi is to enhance education and experience - hazing directly hinders that. Should any student or parent have concerns about hazing, they should contact us immediately.

  • A co-ed fraternity is open to both men and women. Calling the organization a "fraternity" and one another "brothers" is simply a title that represents our team.

  • Our dues are dedicated towards making the best experience possible for our members.

We understand that your money and time is incredibly valuable. Some examples of what dues support include: networking events, skill labs, chapter materials, national costs, social bonding, and a formal celebration event each semester. Dues never go towards the purchase of alcohol or substances.

  • Alpha Kappa Psi plans to rush in the first few weeks in the Fall Semester and Spring Semester. Stay up to date on our website and social media channels for details.

  • Alpha Kappa Psi is not searching for a particular niche of student. Rather, the organization seeks to organize a group of driven and dedicated individuals, who each bring something unique to the table for the benefit of the organization. We want our members to be meaningfully engaged and ready to grow.

  • If you graduate in the same semester you will pledge the fraternity, you are not eligible to apply. Otherwise, all class levels are welcome!
